I am a Design & Art & Creative Director, originally from Portugal, currently living in Brooklyn.

Design is a storytelling medium, and that is where I feel the most at home. I spent 6 years at VICE News, starting as a freelance graphic designer, to leading a team of 13 as the Creative Director for Design and Graphics for VICE News Tonight. Working in close partnership with journalists and film makers, I saw the role design and creativity can play in a world flooded with information. Design helps shape a story, it helps simplify it. It helps the viewer digest it and be entertained by it.

Since then I have collaborated with several journalists, film makers, and news outlets, including The New York Times, Nightline and Politico, as
well as brands like MTV, Apple Music and TodayTix.

No matter the project we always find the story within it, and my goal
is simply to tell it, boldly and clearly, the best I know how.
